wahaha I am so happy cause I got a call from Kinoyuniya and they informed me that I have won movie tickets to the premier of Angel and Demon. But they actually gave me a call last night but I didn picked up. then today when I switch on my handphone again, the phone rang! wahhaha i am so happy lah. I will ask someone to accompany me go watch. wahahaaha happy happy happy me.

Latest outing that i had was the east coast outing and BBQ session with my frens on last sat. I tried cycling! the only things that i could say of it was it was very hard for me to learn. I even got a big bruise on my leg because of the pedal. well no pain, no gain. at least i got a feel of the wind brushing through me when i was cycling, or being pushed forward by my frens. thanx gals for helping me though it did not turned out well.

next is the bbq session. oh i loved it! i got a lot of jump shot pics. haha i finally master it liao. next time jen, nisa, ck and rf we go play again! haha i am addicted to it liao:)

today i went westmall and i bought a Angels & Demon book and a cupcakes recipe book. hahaha it feel so good to shop again though it is shopping for clothes but i am still very happy! oh and i want to cut my hair toooo. I want to dye my hair again. i want to get a topshop card toooo.

I am super happy happy happy! I went out with Xinyuan yesterday and I bought a pair of sandals and a money pouch. Its feel so good to buy something new. The pair of sandal is from Dorothy Perkin and the money pouch is from topshop. I knew it from the first sight I landed my eyes on the pouch that it will belong to me. And I did. I went to Raffles City outlet first but the available colour is not nice so I did not buy. Fortunately I did not as I saw a better one at Marina Square. And I grabbed it before anyone take it. hahaahaha. I’m happy! I only saw my sandals when I went back to Dorothy Perkin again to see one bag, then I am captivated by this pair of sandals. I tried it on and it look nice so I bought it. Happy!

Besides shopping, me and Xinyuan had a gourmet meal too. we ate at Kuirya for our high tea,

its 2 desert set for only $12!

and at Aerin’s…wah the view super good as we can see watch splashing up, the downside is that i can feel the water splashing to my leg –_-

our mushroom soup…the soup taste different from the usual mushroom soup, i think there’s more ingredient in this and quite a large portion too. and the bread is super crunchy.

our dinner! mine is cajun grilled chicken…the chicken is very tender, I like!

Xinyuan ordered Ling Marinara…look good and taste good too.

In conclusion, I had an enjoyable day! looking forward to next wednesday as me and my girlfriends are going Tampines 1!

I am back from FOC! FOC was fun and I enjoyed the camp fire night. This experience is way better than primary and secondary camps. I love it!

I am so into shopping lately. I have so many things to buy including a 19th birthday present for myself. so looking forward to my birthday! it is just around the corner!

Busy Busy me….I have been busy from last Sunday to Thursday, and finally I can stay at home and relax till my FOC on Sunday. Yesterday was the greatest time of my life. I went out with Chelsia and we went shopping at those high-end shops which I could only dream of previously. Some examples like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Hermes etc… Wow I was fascinated by the wide range of luxury bags that each shops exhibited. Pretty pretty bags and their pretty pretty price. Besides these luxury shops, we went to eat at fine dining restaurant (all recommended by Chelsia) like Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge at Taka,

and Marmalade Pantry at Palais Renaissance,

Foie Gras, simply delicious!!!

and last but not least, Sushi Tei at Ngee Ann City

Another shop that I recommend is Jo Malone at Ngee Ann City. This shop offers a wide range of cologne and body lotion. I tested some on the papers and I could still smell it as I am typing now. The honeysuckle lotion that I tried yesterday on my right hand has high water content, leaving my hand smooth and fragrant.

After the whole day Tai Tai outing, we ended the day on a ride home by Taxi. I just want to relax on these two days and get ready for 2009 HMS FOC! haha will report on it when I came back. Till then, Ciao!

I am back from camp! Overall, it was fun, fun, FUN! Well there was certain downside of this camp, which is insufficient sleepiness. I only had less than 10 hours of sleep for the 2 night that I stayed in school. Everyday after all activities had ended, we excos had meeting for around 1 hour or more, after which was then our resting time for the day. My latest time to shower was 1am and my latest time to sleep was 3.30. Everyday I slept late but woke up early but I did not complaint, in fact I enjoyed the whole camp and I hope that every campers also enjoyed the pre-camps.

I felt so lucky yesterday. I was washing up plates and stuff when I saw that the sky has a yellowish colour. I thought that the colour was so unusual but it was until I passed by my living room window that I saw a rainbow. That was the most fascinating thing that I had ever saw. I mean it is not everyday that you get to see a rainbow. I immediately went off to tell my parents and went outside to snap pictures of it along the corridor.

haha this is a long rainbow so I have to take three times so as to capture the whole length of the rainbow.

Grandma came to my house today and she brought a gift for me. Its a miniature teddy couple that she got from a wedding dinner.

Such a sweet couple. They are so cute too, even the teddy bride has a wedding veil designed on her. How much cuter and pretty can she gets.

Finally I went to IT Show 2009 this week. I have been waiting for this day to come since last year when my mp3 spoilt. Keling and I chat a lot while we were on the bus to Suntec City and I only realised that this year’s laptop is a lot more cheaper than what we bought last year. I was shocked to see that Suntec City was thronged with people even though the economy crisis still exist. I thought people will be thrifty on their spending but I guess economic crisis does not affect people’s mood on spending at all even me included. The queue was interminable, it was 35 minutes later that it was finally my turn. Fortunately there’s Keling to accompany me and we passed the time with more chatting, or else the both of us will be very bored with the waiting. Well after I had bought my item, we went on to looked at the laptops and we collected a lot of brochures. I like Fujitsu laptop as this year they are cheaper and has 4 different types of colours. I like the pink laptop! If only they were sold last year… Well in the end, both of us got what we wanted and we left the place contented:)

Yesterday I went to Pioneer JC to attend a talk. When I reached CCK mrt station at the meeting time, 7.30AM, there’s only Darren and no sign of Candyce. While we waited for her, both of us composed a poem that describe the situation we were in while we wait for her:

well we read the poem to her when she finally arrived and there’s no reaction from her…hai…..we attended the talk from 8.30am to 11.30am. We were suppoed to stay till 3pm but the later section of the talk doesn’t concern us so we left early, making us the centre of attraction when we left as it was the time when the presenter finished her talk. I later went to have my lunch at Lot 1 and reached home at 2pm followed by an afternoon nap. Well that’s all for now….there will be more when I returned from pre-camp next week:)

It’s finally our break and I can finally relax! I am glad that I studied hard for the past 8 days as the exam questions were manageable and all its left is how Dr Nan mark. well off with my worries and here comes shopping! Yesterday I went on an outing with my girlfriends to town and Changi Airport. It was so fun and I loved it.

The first stop we went was Suntec City as Alisa and I had planned to give Jianning a surprise there. On our way to Suntec City, we went in Charles&Keith and I saw some bags which are very pretty. I couldn’t make up my mind if I should buy the bag because of the price. well we left C&K and headed off to Suntec City, giving me ample time to consider. Once there, we went to eat at Andersen’s of Denmark. We ordered couple chocolate fodue and chicken pie.

Yummy! I fall in love with chocolate fodue even though I am not a big fan of chocolate. Their chocolate is sweet and tasty. I will want to order chocolate fodue next time when I buy my ipod at the IT fair at Suntec city. After a good time of eating, chatting and resting, we continue to shop for a while and went back to C&K. It took me certain time to made up my mind to buy one of the bags there and yet it is the only stock left in the store. I was disappointed but I asked the staff if there’s a new instock left at other outlets and after much waiting, I was exhilarated again. There is an instock left at bugis outlet and the three of us made our way there. I bought the bag, happy and sad simultaneously, as it is my first branded bag and the price is a bit steep too. Well I am a young adult now and it is the time for me to own a presentable bag.

Then we made our way to Changi Airport. I just love the atmosphere and the people working there. My dream is to work at Changi Airport and hopefully I can realised my dream. We took skytrain to Terminal 1,2&3. Haha it was a fun experience taking skytrain as I have never taken it before. After much walking, the three of us went back to Terminal 3 and have our dinner there before returning back home.

Overall, I enjoyed shopping, walking and chatting with the company of my girlfriends. I do hope that we will be in the same class in semester 2.

Hello ppl….it has been a long time since I updated my blog. well I have been kept busy with my final term assignments and finally, I can relax now. I was a bit despondent for the last few days because of an anime, a surprise, the other will remain as a secret. firstly, I have completed watching shounen onmyouji and the ending is so touching and sad. I even cried for the final episode. secondly, I have planned for a surprise but the result is not what I have hoped for. I was sad and cried once again….I have put my heart and soul in it but the outcome has failed me. well its great that all ends well, even if I failed at something but I will not be crashed by it. I will keep improving until I have make it a success.

this week is like a survival game as my mum just went to the airport for the flight from Singapore to Vietnam. she will be travelling to Vietnam and china, Guangzhou for 8 days. I hope she will buy some cute souvenirs for me. the day before she left Singapore, I have asked her to buy lots of food to be stored at home so that I can at least have something to eat while waiting for my dad to return from work. I have gone through this before and I will survive!

P.S: I want to go travelling tooooo!

Hello how is everyone doing? Have everyone collected enough Hongbaos? Well as I grow older to a young adult, I begin to realize that Chinese New Year is more than collecting hongbaos. I begin to like the feeling of going to my relatives house as a guest and eat their delicious meal which they have cook with much love. Next time I want to invite people to my house too. I was crazy for hongbaos when I was younger. Now, I like to see CNY as a time when we get together and chat and drink wine! I love wine! My cousin brought 2 wines to my aunt’s house and I shared a glass of wine with my mum. Now I am beginning to appreciate the taste of wine. I was quite put off at first because of its bitterness, now as my mum explained, I begin to taste the sweetness of it too.

I want to watch Bride War starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hatherway. I love Anne Hatherway after watching her acting in The Devil Wears Prada. Well maybe I will watch it after completing all my assignments. I wonder if the movie will still be screening by then.

I was brought to this attention when Alisa told me about the movie”2012”. It was actually based on a Maya prediction that there will be a new era on December 21, 2012. I just read an article on this topic from CNN and it seems that 50% of the people are either believes or disbelieve the Maya prediction. Finally I have time to go shopping! Yesterday, RF and I went to bugis and far east in search for our jacket but to no avail. But, we did not went home empty-handed. We each bought a pair of new shoe at Mitju, bugis junction. I strongly recommend Mitju to everyone as I think the shop has many fabulous shoes and their staff is very polite, even if you try a lot of shoes they also won't give you attitude. Some of their shoes looks like flat in the front but actually they have (small) heels behind. Great for tall people who wants to have high-heeled shoes. I just simply love that shop!

ok well this week I am going to be very busy for CNY. I have to do my last minute spring cleaning and then do dozens and dozens of pineapple tarts. Luckily my mom will be helping me or else I won't be able to finish in one day.

I can't wait for reunion dinner on sunday!

Well, my new year resolution is to live everyday to the fullest and not leave any regret. I hope everyone has make their new year resolutions and let us not be lazy and make that wish come true!

Today, my mum and I went to Bukit Timah Plaza to buy some of the CNY's things. While we were wandering around the mall, we came across Fangxiu's workplace and bought my dad's clothes from her. THANKS FOR THE DISCOUNT! SWEETY!

Busy busy me....I have been busy for the past few days. Ok let me summarise what I have done so far. On Monday, after the meet-up for project, I went to Westmall to meet my mum. We have decided to buy an oven and after serious selection and consideration, we bought Tefal's oven and a mixer. The oven is so heavy that I persuaded my mum to ride a cab home. hahaha...how extravagant. happy happy me now that we have an oven at home.

On Tuesday, I went to IMH caroling session which is part of roteract activities. On reaching IMH, I began to feel anxious as I do not know how the patients will behave. Well, my uneasiness begin to subside as the time passed. True, there were some patients who were unstable but the time which I most enjoyed was when we sang songs to the aunties at the last ward. Before we went in, they were singing karaoke's, so cute. The auntie which kept chatting with us is the most normal one there but don't know why she get into IMH. Well I am glad that we have make them happy and I might go caroling with them again next year.

Today, I am busy buying bake-ware and ingredients. I went to Jurong Point first before going to Jurong East. I am surprised that JP has change to a high-end shopping mall because of the newly built area. Thanks to Nisa's recommendation, I managed to buy bake-ware and ingredients at a cheaper price. Next time I will definitely go back to the Red Man shop again and buy their products.

The first 5 days of my break was just purely relaxing and eating. From Saturday to Sunday, I spent my time to watch online Japanese drama"Tricks". It is a very humorous mystery drama as the main characters worked well together and they never fail to crack up jokes even when they were in a very serious situation. I just simply can't stop watching this drama.

On Monday, I went to Sakura Clementi Woods branch to try out their lunch buffet. I would say that the food are average and I may not go there for a second time as I think Sakae's food are better than theirs in term of Japanese cuisine.

On Tuesday, I went to East Coast Park for picnic with my friends to celebrate RF's birthday. The air is fresh there and the weather is not hot. You can feel the wind blowing and the accompany of the wave sound makes you feel so relaxed. After that, we went to Terminal 3 and I saw a lot of Air Stewardess. They really got the figure and I think that is what Singapore Airline look out for when they do the interviews.

On Wednesday, I went to Clementi CC for the the baking lesson. I would say it was fun to a certain extent, I learnt how to make the custard sauce for the tartlet and cream puff. However, I think the instructor is not good. He didn't explain the steps clearly and the recipe given to us is not clear too, leaving us to figure it ourselves. Well, I can do it myself when I bought an oven . Can't wait for it!

Well, time flies and I have to focus on my assignments now. Till I have more story to share, ciao guys!

Christmas season is just 4 weeks away and I just can't wait for it to come. Although my family does not celebrate Christmas, but I am still looking forward to this festive season. Christmas, a time to spend with your loved ones and friends, and a time to give and share. Christmas is such a kind and peaceful festive season and I have a lot of presents to give this year.

I have been hiatus with my school work that I missed quite a lot of my clique's gathering, most of it were birthday celebrations. Thus, I am making plans to give my friends a birthday cum Christmas present as a compensation for my absence for most of the gatherings.

Besides Christmas, I am looking forward to my baking class on the 17th of December. I think my sudden interest in baking comes after watching Taiwan's drama, Sweet Relationship （美味关系). I love this drama so much that the after-effect is happening on me: The interest in baking and cooking.

Semester one is coming to an end soon, hurray....I can finally watch my online dramas soon!

Busy busy busy me. finally I have time to update my latest post. today was my Japanese speaking test and though I was a bit confused, but I still make it and did not make any grammar mistake. Yippy, finally it was over!

this week was quite free because of the red camp and I can stay at home and do the assignments. I am happy that I completed the assignments earlier and now, on to the other assignments! I will be having a speech comm test on the 1st of december. I have decided what photo and story to tell, now I just have to decide on the sequence of the story. I hope I will speak smoothly and get good marks! haha off to watching online drama...ciao!

Finally my 2 presentation is over! I think my presentation is passable, not so good but not so bad either. Well, I'm glad that it is over, now I can indulge on my piano, online shopping and drama. It has been a long time since I watched a drama series. Now I can at least indulge on these hobbies till next week...Hurray! However the sad news for today is I have sore throat! I do not know how I have it, I didn't eat any heaty food but now I am suffering from the ache of sore throat When I can finally relax...it's so unfair!

Well let's steer away from sore throat to something delightful...today Emily suggested that we have a christmas exchange gift game. each of us draw lots and give a gift to whoever we have chosen and it has to be kept as a secret. Oh I love this idea. Yx kept asking me who I have chosen but I did not tell her, this is a secret and it will unfold on the day we exchange gifts. Oh how exciting it will be! I am curious who have picked me but I think I accept any gifts as it is the thought that counts. I can't wait for the day to arrive!

It has been a long and busy week. I have finally presented my music and lyrics presentation...Woo finally it is over! However there are 2 upcoming presentation this week: Chinese literature and pop culture.

I am quite angry with the efficiency of the lib...I reserved a book online and when I collect the book, I found out that there are 4 volumes and that book was not what I want. Ok, it's all right. I called the lib and asked for volume one 5 days ago and up till now it is still transiting. Why is it that the first time I reserved the book, I was able to collect in just 4 days and now it has been 5 days but the book is still not in the the lib YET! My friend and I need the book for our Thursday presentation and how are we going to present when our book has not arrive?

I initially thought that the book will arrive latest by Monday but in this rate that we are going, I doubt that it is possible.

It has been a long time since I updated my blog. sorry but it has been a busy week for me. it was only the first two weeks and I was dawned with the fact that I have 3 projects: to be finish: 1 is music & lyrics individual project by week 4 and what makes it worse is that I am the first few to get the ball started. 2 is Chinese literature group project by week 5 and I, with my group members will be the first group to present. 3 is written communication group project by 12 December. Omg my schedule is packed with projects and I am really looking forward to my December break.

my mum will be taking the flight tml morning from Singapore to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. she will be travelling with her friends and sister for 10 days, leaving me and my father at home eating instant noodle. hahaha ok that's exaggerating as there's a lot of food choices from coffee shop to restaurant but nothing can be compared to her cooking. oh how i will miss her when she's not with me@_@

Finally after weeks and weeks of slacking and day-dreaming about shopping, I went town yesterday and splurge on myself. I bought some clothes from Topshop and Forever21. I also went to dine in New York New York restaurant. I ordered Taglienne with tomato sauce and roasted chicken. I could say that this meal is worth it as it was quite big portion what with the half roasted chicken and pasta. There was a time when I could not cut the roasted chicken to bite-sized but Xinyuan helped me so I really have to thank her for making my plate looked less wasted. Oh and we get to have free candy floss and it was quite a big one too. My food came even before I finished my candy floss so I have to place it on the tissue paper while I ate my food. I will go back to NY NY again next time...the food and the services there worth a thumbs up from me.

house visiting part 2

yesterday I went to Nisa's house and I love it. Her mother's cooking is GOOD and the atmosphere was always joyful and lively as more and more visitors came to Nisa's house. Thats what I like when I visit other people's house, the most important thing is not to let the guest feel lethargy or bored but these things did not happen in Nisa's house.

We were treated with scrumptious meal of fried chicken wing, stir-fry prawn and vegetables, and an option of fry rice or noodles. I enjoyed eating the meal and the cakes. YUMMY! Then we watched Hana Kimi...the house was filled with laughter when we watch it as the drama is too hilarious. I was around 6.15pm when I and Jennifer left Nisa's house. Overall ,I would give a thumbs up to Nisa's family as they really try hard to make us feel comfortable. I will definitely visit Nisa's house again next year, that is if she invite me again. Hahaha=)

house visiting part 1

yesterday ,together with my girlfriends, we went to our Muslim friends house for a house visiting. First, we went to Farhanah's house. When we are about to reach her block, we saw a statue that we normally saw on TV and rich people will have a statue on their fountain. It is so classic and western.Then there's a overhead cover made up of leaves that makes me think of wedding, where brides walk through the overhead (leaves)cover to the groom. I wonder if there's any new-wed did use that area to take their wedding photos. I like the overall atmosphere there.

Farhanah's house is so cooling. When we are at her house, there is no need to switch on the fans as the natural wind would come in and make the living room so cooling. Her house's curtain has two layers and the thinner layer would billow when the wind blows in. I like the atmosphere in her living room.

After much eating and watching TV, we left her house and went to Hazirah's house. It has been 7months since I last saw her and I am glad that she is doing well. We ate while we are watching channel 5's Komodo vs Cobra movie. After some time, Nisa and her sister left first and Haz suggested to watch a Malay horror movie. OMG I protested but to no avail. As the movies was played, I and Rou Fang sat at one corner where the TV was blocked by a wall. Although I didn't watch the movie but I would tell from Jen's and Haz's brother expression that it was terrifying. We later changed to watch a funny Malay movie Zombies. Yeah I agree that the movie was funny but kind of stupid too.

we left Haz's house around 10. I would like to thank Farhanah and Hazirah for their hospitality. You two have been a great host and I have a wonderful time visiting your house.

The F1 Race!

The much anticipated F1 race kicked off last night and though I watched the race at home, I could feel the excitement as those who watched it live at downtown marina track area. Now then I realised why some of the people are willing to pay for the expensive tickets just to get a glimpse of it. Some booked hotel rooms or went to places which give views of the race.

At first, it was Massa who was in the lead but when he went in to his pit crew for the first time, his position changed. He drove off too early with the fuel hose still attached to his car and he has to wait for a few minutes for his crew to pull off the hose, as he waited, time was losing fast which resulted him being the lead earlier to the bottom position. My family and I thought that it was because he was too anxious to get into the race but as I read the article about last night's race, I found out that it was because one of his pit crews gave the green light too early. Magnanimous, he didn't blame the crew member but say that ''we are human being, everyone make mistakes''.

Next, everyone's attention was on Alonso who was in the lead for many rounds during the race. Wow that guy is superb. Even when he went to his pit crew and continue the race after that still did not alter his position as the leader. It shows how much faster he was than the others. There were some accidentals during the race but luckily no one get seriously injured and though some of the racers were disqualified, at least they have an experience of the World's First Night Race in Singapore. It's the memory that matters isn't it?

I miss shopping! Hai...I want to eat scrumptious meal with my friends and shop till I drop. I feel like buying new wallet but I only bought my current about 10 months ago so I think I better banish the thought out of my mind. Recently I heard from my little sister that she and her friend is not in good term,they are not talking to each other, and so I told her a method which I used before and it worked! I am not sure if it really worked using my method but best friends won't hold on to the grudge forever so it is a good thing that they are friends again.[all thanks to moi]

anyway, 2 more weeks to go before my school starts and so everyone enjoy your remaining holiday! for me, back to online drama and movies while waiting for my shopping day...

Yesterday I went out town with my friends,nisa,farhanah and rf. Its has been ages since I last saw them and though I am in the same school as farhanah,we have only meet twice in school. So the four of us made full use of the gathering to chat about our studies and school-life. rf even say that one of her friends resemble me. (got meh ?) Anyway we ate at a Indonesian restaurant and ok the food is quite delicious but not fulling as we went on to Mcafe and buy some drinks and cakes.

I bought cappuccino while the three of them bought cakes and drinks. (look delicious...yum yum)

Haha misses the old times when we hang out together...now that we are no longer in the same school, it has been difficult to come up with a date that all six of us can gather around and chat. But I hope that that day will eventually come!

Today is also the grand opening ceremony of the Olympics! wah I have been looking forward to this day....

the grand opening ceremony is so cool as many countries around the globe go to Beijing and participate this big event. I found out that it took 2 hours to introduce the countries who are participating in Olympics and some of these countries is quite ulu....I never even heard of their names before. And the country with the largest number of people participating in the Olympics Game is none other than the United States of America. I thought that it is Japan but I was wrong when I saw the USA team. OMG LAH! I guess there are over hundreds of their athlete participating in the Olympics Game, which is a contrast to some of the countries who has less than 6 people in the country's team.

But I hope that all athletes will not go back empty-handed. even if they didn win a medal, they still make friends with other athletes and enjoy their stay in Beijing. ok Olympics journalist Chanel will sign off now...ciao!
